We will build a series of unique foundational models, some based upon learning the patterns and sequences in machine data, to drive a leading edge agent first platform. Replacing SIEM/SOAR and XDR by the revolutionary combination of AIDR (AI Detection & Response) for SecOps and a novel Generative AIOps platform, we will bring to market the world’s first XOps platform. Humans will only ever be pulled into the loop to oversee the army of agents that will secure and assure the most sensitive and critical digital infrastructures. This represents a $50 billion market worldwide, and the opportunity with a unique US & UAE capital strategy, to build the fifth essential AI property.

Position Summary
The Vice President, Engineering is responsible for leading the execution, delivery, and scalability of the CrazyCatz platform. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this executive will oversee software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, quality engineering, and technical delivery across all product lines.
This role is ideal for a hands-on engineering leader who has successfully built and scaled high-performing engineering organizations within AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software companies.
The successful candidate will transform breakthrough research and product vision into secure, scalable, enterprise-grade platforms capable of supporting some of the world’s most critical digital infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Leadership
Lead and scale the company’s engineering organization across application development, platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, and quality assurance.
Establish engineering standards, best practices, and delivery methodologies.
Build a culture of technical excellence, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Partner closely with Product, Architecture, and Research teams to ensure alignment between vision and execution.
Product Delivery
Own engineering execution and delivery across the company’s product portfolio.
Ensure products are delivered on time, with high quality and operational reliability.
Drive agile development practices and engineering effectiveness.
Balance speed, innovation, scalability, and technical debt management.
Platform & Infrastructure
Lead the design and operation of highly scalable cloud-native platforms.
Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and resilience.
Establish infrastructure strategies capable of supporting large-scale AI workloads and enterprise deployments.
Drive automation across development, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
AI Platform Engineering
Partner with the Chief Scientist and Chief Architect to operationalize proprietary AI models and agent-based systems.
Build scalable infrastructure supporting model training, inference, experimentation, and deployment.
Develop engineering frameworks that accelerate AI innovation while maintaining reliability and governance.
Ensure seamless integration between foundational models, agents, and enterprise applications.
Security & Operational Excellence
Embed security, privacy, compliance, and reliability into all engineering processes.
Establish engineering KPIs and performance metrics.
Implement world-class monitoring, observability, and incident management practices.
Drive operational readiness and continuous service improvement.
Talent & Organization Development
Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent.
Build leadership capability throughout the engineering organization.
Create career development pathways and succession planning frameworks.
Foster an environment that attracts top-tier technical talent.
Qualifications
Required Experience
15+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
Experience building and scaling enterprise software, cybersecurity, AI, SaaS, or cloud platforms.
Proven success leading engineering organizations through rapid growth and product expansion.
Strong technical background in distributed systems, cloud architectures, APIs, and modern software development practices.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Demonstrated ability to deliver complex products at enterprise scale.
Preferred Experience
Experience building AI, machine learning, agentic AI, or large-scale data platforms.
Background in cybersecurity, observability, SecOps, AIOps, or cloud infrastructure.
Experience supporting Fortune 500 customers and mission-critical enterprise environments.
Prior startup or high-growth technology company experience.
Experience operating globally distributed engineering teams.
