Humans will only ever be pulled into the loop to oversee the army of agents that will secure and assure the most sensitive and critical digital infrastructures. We are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer to lead our technology organization and help scale the company from an innovative AI platform into a category-defining enterprise software business.

Position Summary

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for the company’s overall technology strategy, engineering execution, platform delivery, and technical talent development. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CTO will lead Engineering, Infrastructure, Security, and Technology Operations while partnering closely with Product, Architecture, Customer Success, and Revenue teams.

This executive will be responsible for translating product vision into scalable, secure, enterprise-grade technology solutions while building a world-class engineering organization capable of supporting rapid growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with proven leadership experience scaling SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, cloud, or enterprise technology organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.

  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long-term company vision and growth plans.

  • Ensure technology investments support scalability, innovation, security, and customer success.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and market opportunities to maintain competitive advantage.

Engineering Leadership

  • Lead and scale a high-performing engineering organization.

  • Establish engineering processes, development standards, and operating rhythms that support rapid growth.

  • Drive accountability for product delivery, platform reliability, and development velocity.

  • Build a culture of ownership, innovation, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Partner with Product leadership to translate strategy into executable engineering roadmaps.

  • Ensure timely delivery of product releases and customer commitments.

  • Balance innovation, technical debt, platform scalability, and speed to market.

  • Create predictable execution frameworks that improve delivery outcomes.

Platform & Infrastructure

  • Oversee the design, development, and operation of the company’s AI platform and supporting infrastructure.

  • Ensure platform performance, availability, scalability, and resilience.

  • Establish cloud infrastructure strategies that support growth and enterprise customer requirements.

  • Drive operational excellence across all technology functions.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure security is embedded throughout the technology stack and development lifecycle.

  • Partner with security and compliance leaders to meet enterprise customer expectations.

  • Oversee technology risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery planning.

  • Support customer technical reviews, audits, and due diligence activities.

Talent & Organizational Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering and technology talent.

  • Build leadership bench strength across engineering and technology functions.

  • Establish career development frameworks and succession planning within the technology organization.

  • Foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Serve as a technology spokesperson for customers, partners, investors, and industry events.

  • Support strategic customer engagements and enterprise sales opportunities.

  • Translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for non-technical audiences.

  • Build credibility with enterprise customers and technology stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.

  • Proven success leading engineering organizations within SaaS, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise software companies.

  • Experience scaling technology platforms through rapid growth.

  • Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, software development, data platforms, and modern engineering practices.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large engineering teams and technical leaders.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience building AI, machine learning, or agentic AI platforms.

  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale customers and complex implementations.

  • Startup and scale-up experience.

  • Experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise technology environments.

  • Prior CTO, SVP Engineering, VP Engineering, or equivalent executive leadership experience.
